With a particular focus on deformities of the foot and related structures, as well as the medical management of foot diseases, Dr. Zimmerman is highly skilled in the surgical treatment of foot and ankle disorders.

Dr. Zimmerman has a diverse patient population, including individuals living with diabetes, sports-related injuries, workplace injuries, and running disorders. Boone Podiatry

Dr. Jonathan Tenley is a board qualified and skilled podiatric surgeon who grew up in Wadsworth, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baldwin Wallace University, where he played Division III baseball and earned a degree in Pre-Physical Therapy with a minor in Biology. Dr. Tenley then attended Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, where he received his medical degree. He went on to complete a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, where he served as the Academic Coordinator for the program. During his residency, he published multiple papers and research posters that were presented at national conferences, and he was recognized with the Award for Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Tenley is trained and specialized in various areas of foot and ankle care, including complex limb salvage reconstruction, trauma, elective foot and ankle surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and wound care. His expertise and experience in these areas make him a valuable asset to the Boone Podiatry team.
In his free time, Dr. Tenley enjoys exploring the outdoors and engaging in various outdoor activities that Boone has to offer, such as hiking, skiing, playing tennis, white water rafting, and spending quality time with his wife, Jordan, and their Jack Russell mix, Finley.
